Supreme Court to Consider Puerto Rico Restructuring Appeal [Video] * * *

On Friday the U.S. Supreme Court agreed to consider Puerto Rico's bid to reinstate a law allowing the restructuring of public agencies in the territory. The court also took up a companion case filed by representatives of the publicly owned Government Development Bank for Puerto Rico. Known as the Recovery Act, the 2014 law conflicts with federal bankruptcy law which is at the heart of Puerto Rico's woes.
